*Kunst Raum Goethestrasse* positions itself as a place of presentation and production of contemporary (experimental) art, of creative presentations in a psycho-social context, and as a platform for discourse about culture and politics. In its self-perception so far and today Kunst Raum Goethestrasse is a strengthener and initiator between the arts / culture and society. The focus of intention is primarily the balanced relation between them, and to actively contribute to the current discourse, as well as to function as a mediator.
Its aim is to - through closer cooperation between institutions and associations (on a regional as well as an international level) with similar projects in Austria and Europe, continued cooperation with the University for Artistic Creation Linz - remain a linchpin through which publicity is achieved, and which works on current topical fields relating to our society.
Kunst Raum Goethestraße is integrated in the department for the arts and culture of its supporting association "pro mente" Upper Austria.
